The trials and tribulations of a 20-something year old in Toronto

I want to feel better. I need to get over this I just don’t know how to at the moment.

Nerd Rant.

My tutorial room included ancient Egyptian pottery on a table that I oh-so-wanted-to-touch-but-couldn’t-cause-I-would-most-likely-break-it; so all I could do was stare aimlessly. Who knew pottery can excite me the way it does.

I’ve been in such a good mood lately, so good that I can’t put it into words. It’s like the song, “I can see clearly now” is constantly on replay in my head and I can’t help but grin stupidly.

I freaking LOVE this show.

I freaking LOVE this show.

I was always hungry for love. Just once, I wanted to know what it was like to get my fill of it — to be fed so much love I couldn’t take any more. Just once.

3 Worst Places to Pick Up a Girl.

1. On a subway bench at 10 o clock at night.

2. In front of the women’s washroom

3. Inside a bus shelter.

If I were to ever dirty talk, I’d imagine it would be just like this….

‘Here, I bought you something in case you’d miss me’

“What is it?”

“emergency chocolate.”

Heat up last night’s dinner. Have it for breakfast. Rummage through your bag. Find the remainder left. Eat some to relieve the spiciness.Eat a bit to relieve hunger on the train. But eat this piece for the specific purpose of missing someone. Listen to Adele sing faintly in the background. Begin to write a letter. Realize your handwriting has gotten worse over the years. Stop writing. Start texting. Letters are over-rated anyways.

“Who says I’ll miss you?”

“I do. And that’s all that matters”

“oh really?”

“yeah.”

It’s a bit chilly. Sift through your dirty laundry. Find a sweater and curl up under the covers. Take a nap. Enjoy your day off. It’s been a while since you’ve been home anyways.
